I was up last night until 3:30 with a stomach virus. I have no idea how I got through the day. I took this with my iPhone beause I knew I wouldn't be getting out to take pictures today.

Thanks so much for the views and comments. They all mean a lot to me. I hope everyone has a great week!

Nice classroom shot - most of them look to be working pretty hard, so a good start to the term! I hope you are feeling better soon.

@ariel817 I teach 6th grade social studies. There aren't a lot of girls in this class. I have one class, though, that has 31 kids in it, and only one of them is a boy!

@bardejov Yeah, their brains weren't used to working yet. :)

@clmiller Wow, that's a huge class size (31 kids) -- I don't envy you at all! Social studies, fun subject, though!

Hi, Carol. So I'm your collegue - a teacher of English at a local evening school now. Our classes start on the 1st of September and I'll see such scenes nearly every day for about nine months. It is interesting for me to look inside your classroom - just like ours. The difference is that our students sit in two at a table. Thank you for sharing.
