Fancy a Ride?

It was a very long, but entertaining, day. We visited an American heritage center this afternoon...plenty of cool things to photograph there.
This is one great photo. these old bikes interest me. I often wonder why they made them. Certainly not for everyone.

You would need a fence to help you get on it. Great shot. Love the clouds.

Oh cool shot! There's one in town that "parks" outside one of the Mexican restaurants. It's never there in the evening ... but you don't see anyone riding around on it either.

What a great photo, Caryn. Love this bike sitting against this fence, along with this setting. Nicely done. Looks like a beautiful place.

I like what you did with the processing on this one. Very subtle but adds just enough pop. Nice one!

Love your composition and perspective. Lovely shot!

Nice find. The bike and fence are definitely rustic but I like your choice to keep some color in grass and sky. The only way to make this shot better is if you were actually riding the bike... now THAT would be a great photo. :-)

Nice shot found you from the P.P. Wasn't sure if you knew it was called a "penny farthing" the name comes from the British penny and farthing coins, one much larger than the other, so that the side view resembles a penny leading a farthing.
Thats another thing I like about 365 you can learn something new everyday. The bike is probably taller than I am.......5ft 1in (don't forget the 1") :o)
