It was windy and overcast yesterday, so I thought it might make for a good day to photograph some smooth, waving grass with a long exposure. I got there to find the grass field was cut, the wind had stopped, and the sun was starting to peek out. I abandoned that idea, and decided to capture the clouds instead. Meh.
I really need to work on my landscapes. Maybe that will be my focus for June.
I can see what you were trying for, but I think this photo still stands out. Love the feel of those darkening skies. And the way the sun rays sneak out is great.
when i have set plans for a picture, but it depends on anything other than myself, it never seems to work out for me. but sometimes what i end up with ends up better than what i had planned. Love the pic!!
