I found that it is peaceful for me to sit by a flower and just wait. I enjoy that. I also enjoy aimlessly walking around the city looking for things that catch my eye. Landscapes frustrate me. I love faces. I think I'm starting to find my style, or at least know what I enjoy photographing.
This is stunning. What clarity on those bee eyes. I am with you Caryn, I enjoy photographing people too, although as you can see from my last three photos, my subject matter is pretty limited lol.
Lovely. I think that's the beauty of being consistent with whatever you love. You begin to take notice with what moves you, how you can find the extraordinary in the seemingly "mundane".
I love that you'll sit by a flower and wait for a bee! That, my darlin', is what life should be like. When it all falls apart around me, I'm going to imagine sitting by a flower, waiting for a bee. I LOVE IT! (Great photo as well.)
I was feeling that way yesterday too! It's such a good feeling, isn't it?
Great photo. How on Earth did you have time to just sit and wait? Your children must be amazing!
Gorgeous angle ! I am like you...I love now to just find a good potential spot and wait for an insect to wander by or just by sitting down, I see a different angle I like. Love how you shot across this flower from down low. Nice ! fav and congats...it's on the PP
