...being lazy. I took a small handful of crap street shots today. It was like I had never held a camera before. Here's something from earlier in the month that I pulled off the iPad. I'm too tired to bother with anything more.
This is also me apologizing for not commenting much the last few days. I don't have enough time in the day it seems.
oooh! marshmallow roasts! having tried to shoot a few of these myself, i know how tricky they can be... this is nicely done... and yeah, i hear you about time... i should have been in bed an hour ago, but i started the puter running on something and it hasn't finished yet... that's my excuse and i'm sticking by it!
Wow you really caught the flames so well and yummmy i love marshmellow's...i love your dedication to your project and that is why you feel bad for not commenting..but it is ok....i figured that out just a short time ago myself...we are not winning any prizes here and oh well if you have to take care of your family or yourself...i think we can all relate....just when you come back let everyone know by commenting again...i looked back at my followers from the beginning of my project and the ones i have now and i see that these things weed out on there own....the people who really like you and enjoy your style will be back and excited to see you when you can post or comment! Just enjoy it or it becomes a full time job! and not fun anymore!!
Wow, this is an excellent capture of the flames with your great focus on the marshmallow. I'm behind posting, too, but life sometimes gets real busy and we make the best of it....as you have done with this shot. =)
It's a wonderful AND beautiful capture, Caryn. I am in the same slump tho ... also feel like I can't get ANY kind of good photo anymore. Look back on my D3100 photos and think that I did better on some of them. lol That's pitiful. Don't worry about your "daily life with the family, etc." It's way more important than a photo a day. I feel under pressure on here now and know exactly what you are feeling. Take care of yourself first!! And relax ... your talent is there.
@karenann Interesting you say that about your D3100. I feel the same way about photos from my D3000. Why is that?! How is the dust on your D7000? I read about cam oil spraying onto the sensor. Luckily, I don't think I have that problem.
My D7000 is doing fine so far since it was cleaned, Caryn. The shop looked at it and said that it wasn't oil ... yes, I did ask them if it was. It was dust. So far, so good. And my husband watched while they did it .. and he said that it was dust too. (I can't watch when they do it ... makes me nervous. lol)
