I can already tell this is going to be one of those "too dark" uploads. I would go back and lighten in Snapseed, but I'm done for the night. I think there might just be a little part of me that is ready for fall and winter so that things slow down a little. I definitely can say that no time was wasted this summer.
Without knowing what you were going for, I think this has the right light balance. I like the hint of rainbow flare, too - kind of makes the shot special in a funny sort of way.
Not too dark on my end, just purely beautiful. I admit, though, that I often up the exposure on my photos just before uploading onto here because I SO OFTEN think it looks too dark once it's uploaded, so I can relate.
I like the title and it doesn't seem too dark to me. I hate when that happens though! I'm ready for fall just so my children will go back to school. They need the structure badly!
