I took this phot last week in Germany looking down from the ruins of Madeburg Castle close to Landau in der Pfalz. There are many villages in Rheinland Pfalz where local families cultivate their own grapevines and produce wine which, of course, just had to be sampled!

What wonderful fields - it is like a piece of cloth. I would never have thought that grapevines could look like this from afar. Really lovely photograph.
