Today while driving down a country road, I noted about five Scissortail Flycatchers on a fence. So, I pulled over and got the camera out. Turns out there were several males with apparently a very hot lady, so these guys were swarming all around, not paying any heed to me. I therefore was able to pull off lots of shots, some pretty steamy, but this was a rare shot of two males in one frame.
@anazad511 This is a Nikkor 300mm f/2.8!- weighs about 6 lbs. I never use a tripod or monopod, and while that can get exhausting, it does free me up to move around to get shots I might not get if the camera were hooked to something. My arm strength is improving daily!
