I didn't take this today, but it's not so old !
I just remember that this day was the coldest day of the last 2 icy weeks we have been through, it was 9 am.
Despite the freezing cold, I really enjoyed walking alone ( ok I met 2 joggers and 3 dogs..), and the sound of my steps in the fresh snow...

Snow always has a way of making a scene peaceful. At sunrise, sunset; even at midnight, when the world is asleep. The long shadows, the way everything seems a silhouette. Nice capture
