I should have read your tags -- I didn't think it looked like Venice but didn't know New Yorkers shared the same custom. I guess they throw their keys into the river.
This is so cool! Love he colors and the perspective. A friend's daughter just got back from a semester at sea, where she visited four continents and countless countries...she has TONS of pics of bridge locks. It almost became like a scavenger hunt for them over time!
