I've been invited to an exhibition during Art Basel, and a friend of mine coming with me fell in love with this oil painting as soon as she saw it. Here she is trying to reach her husband asking him if he was ok with the price and negotiations...he was! So now this painting is theirs!
She immediately loved it because she grew up in Asia and India and this reminded her the landscapes of her childhood...I loved the way she was talking about the "mousson", the humidity, the rain, the atmosphere ...she was so happy and her enthusiasm was very communicative ...her name is Juliette, I'm very happy for her.
Happy for her, and happy for the artist!! That is a wonderful painting with the framing of the branches leading into that foggy, misty world beyond! I can see how it would make her happy to look at this every day, and be reminded of the landscapes of her childhood!! Great job, and I am glad you captured that moment!
