We have visited the pumpkin farm in my neighborhood, we bought some, and cooked it in different ways, depending their flavor : roasted, soup, pie... I still have one and want to use for a recipe I’ve seen : only take out the “cap”, take out the seeds with a spoon, then fill the inside with thin slices of bread, then, mushroom, oignons or leeks in small pieces, cheese and cream, then put it in the oven 3 hours 1/2 at 160 degres Celsius.... it looks very rich but good , I’ll have a try !
I saw a few of these the other day I thought they were very interesting my friend was totally turned off by them Beauty is truly in the eye of the beholder.
I like the looks of these. And the last recipe sounds wonderful. You must post a photo of the results along with the recipe. I bought a smooth orange skinned sugar, or pie pumpkin today. I'm thinking soup.
