We have explored a part of the lagoon at high tide ( no water in low tide : you have to walk and of course you don’t have those fantastic shades of blue).
There was a sandbar with only 3/4 boats when we arrived , we have swum around and then went back to our boat after half an hour , the sandbar was full of people as 20 boats arrived ..
One question for the native english speaker of even the others ;) … what’s the difference between a sandbar and a sand bank ? I don’t get it …
I think the sandbank is usually submerged so it can be a hazard to boats, but they are usually synonyms, so they are used interchangeably. Beautiful shot with the terrific colors and the orange really stands out against the blues. What is your native language?
