The Hammetschwand lift.

From our resort, you can walk 30/40 minutes on the Felsenweg to reach the Hammetschwand lift (built between 1900 and 1905).
You pay 15chf (expensive, as everything in Switzerland...) and the lift brings you 157meters higher in one minute, with and incredible view above the lake ( and a little bit of vertigo and nausea...).
Then my husband and I realized we didn’t have enough money to pay the way back ( because YES the 15chf per person only allowed you one way ... never seen that before !).
So we decided to walk on the south side of the mountains to reach our resort. It should have taken 45/60 minutes.
But we got lost...and it took us 2 hours... with the rain.

Oh Lordie! That's the lift!?! Straight up, please tell me you're not sitting in some kind of open ski-lift type chair! Well, at least there's a little net to catch you...
