Switzerland doesn't have sea, but has some pretty lakes, but Basel doesn't have any lake...but has the Rhine.
So people use to swim in the Rhine, some people put their clothes in a watertight bag you can use as a float and they derive few kilometers, among ducks, swans...and giant barges.
There special spots to stop and get out of the river, you can have a shower.
But some don't use floats, so they have to walk back, and its normal to see people in swimsuit walking next to men in costume...

@karlow75 my husband can do after leaving his company...and be back 30 minutes later, people do this during summer instead of having lunch...I never dare doing it....one day...
