@brizmako Oh noooooo!! You serious? That's terrible news :( I hope it has a speedy recovery and makes it back to you very soon! I would be devastated so I feel for you! I still haven't got a new lens. Just perservering with my 55-200mm kit lens and my beloved 50mm macro lens. I am thinking I would like a 35mm f/1.8 as a lightweight and quick portrait lens followed by a wide angle one still also. Thanks for thinking of me and the great A350 :) Let us know when it's back in action.

@cocorose Will do :) If you're hunting for a good prime, I can highly recommend the Sigma 30mm f/1.4 EX DC - I got it a month back for a job and it's totally awesome. Also, there's a Tamron 17-50mm f/2.8 walkabout lens that's cheap as chips and top rate. Neither of those are very dear, either.

I've just ordered a big Sigma 120-400mm zoomer that's due in any day now, which is why the A350 copping a jab to the screen is less than ideal at this time. There's a couple of new Sonys being released later this month - I'm getting the A77, money stashed away and everything ;)
