Tea-TTV

Shot through the view finder of my Duaflex II.
I *might* attempt an entire week of TTV. We'll see. I do love the end photo, but its a really awkward way to shoot .

On a side note, it was the last day of school holidays today (weekends dont count). I celebrated with some dark chocolate and a cup of tea from one of my favourite china cups. Back to work on Monday. How am I going to find time to look at everyone's beautiful photos???
This is so pretty. I love the vintage feel. I have a photo very similar of a tea cup on a windowsill but mine isn't nearly as lovely.

andrea, the soft tones in your photos are so stylish...it's really great to know that you have found your own style of photography. i am still, with all honesty, finding mine.
yes, the sunset on mt. cooper is always breathtaking, and i must have been just concentrating on the numbers challenge that i could not remember staying longer to watch it that day...i am glad you told me. when i reached home and saw the beautiful sunset photos around here, i told my husband about it.
your street art photo has such a good perspective...
i have actually tried to minimize the intense lighting of the photos i had taken of the graffiti in the same laneway (in ref to your previous photo) but just could not get rid of it without cropping most of the angle from above the buildings and by doing so, the perspective that i wanted from my photos started to fade. how did you do yours?

oh yeah, the mt. cooper lookout now closes at 7 and i think it's just about time for sunset...i am looking forward to your sunset photos, if you can make it.

It looks so quaint and relaxing. I love tea and dark chocolate, though I've never had them together. I must do that sometime!

Very inviting, very oldy worldy and the subdued colouring really matches the mood.

Wow...we both swapped out our Profile pictures today! Love yours & am astounded at your cat's eyes!

Your photo is *beautiful*! So explain...you shot this through your twin lens reflex? (It was you who liked my photo of mine, I believe) ChrisR thinks I should get a roll of film and shoot it, but I'm thinking (if I understand what you did correctly), this would be "easier" than getting film developed... Either way, it would be fun to actually use my camera again... Thanks for any tips!

Love the muted/antique look, as usual.
Especially like the chocolate accoutrement! ;-)

Enjoy the rest of your weekend, and happy back-to-school!
We have friends who are both principals in Adelaide, and I so love hearing about all of the trips they take during their hols, particularly since their kids are grown. But it always seems weird when your holidays times are so different from ours up here!
