now we dissapear...

After a week of really shitty cold weather, today was STUNNING!
We made our regular fortnightly visit to the block to check on progress on the house. We have a slab!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've never been so excited to see concrete in all my life.
After having some lunch at a local cafe (which is sure to become a fav when we move), we decided to wonder around the cemetery. The oldest grave I found was one dating back to 1870. I love how rich in history our new neighbourhood is.
What a wonderful collage! I love the lighting, especially in the lower right photo!

Oh, how cool to have something like this so close to where your new house will be. Many people think cemeteries are too creepy, but I happen to think they have so much character, and I love coming across the really old graves..it feels like it connects you to the past somehow. Love this collage and love that sun flare.....and hey, congrats on the slab!!! :)
