show time....

I recently asked the kidlets what they wanted to change our dramatic play area into. Over the past few months it has transformed from a house, to a hospital to a vet. We jotted down some ideas and then voted to make a final decision. Their choice? A movie theatre! So we spent most of the session today moving furniture, creating a dark theatre room complete with torches for the ushers to guide people to their seats, an area for ticket sales, we painted movie posters, made money and ticket stubs and created fake popcorn! When it was all organised they took turns to be the actors in a movie while the rest of them sat, enjoying their "popcorn" and the show! They had an absolute blast and are all excited to be making real popcorn on Monday! Anyway, Im not really into this shot..but it highlights the days activities I guess.

***I'm totally playing catch up...Hoping to get around to you all over the weekend!!***
I'm sorta kinda playin' catcupu too :) I have been busy with finals and all...but now that schools out I have WAY much more time!! :D

I like the shot it has a retro milkbar feel to it because of his shirt, the popcorn packet and your colourfade effects. My 16 yr old has been acting since he was just a dot and is still doing drama at school and whereever else he can get it :)
