McLeod Plantation, James Island, SC

This splendid historical park opened just a few days ago. A New York Times article on the park says the plantation tells the story of the South. How true. A remarkable work of preservation, my sister and I enjoyed our visit on a beautiful Spring day this past week and learned a lot.
