Camellia, Charles Towne Landing State Historic Site, Charleston, SC
This is one of the spectacular camellias I photographed the other day at the state park. I'm glad I took all those camellia pictures, as our hard freeze expected this weekend with temps in the lower 20s, could put an end to this latest round of camellias blooms. The flowers can stand temps as low as the mid to upper 20s, amazingly, but 24 is getting a bit iffy. We'll see. I'm hoping the weather forecast is going to be wrong.
