My husband installed his telescope for me last night. I just had to attach my camera with a T- ring and a converter and used my remote.
The line between dark and light is called the terminator. The cluster of three craters due North of the South Pole are Catharina, Cyrillus and Theophilus. The round desert beneath them is Mare Nectaris (The sea of Nectar). Just North but in the dark area is Mare Tranquillitatis where man first set foot on the Moon.
