She is 107 years old and belonged to my grandmother for almost her entire life. She saw me through every single AMEB exam (and there were many exams and daily practice for 17 years) and I could coax tones out of her that no other piano could match. She put the expressions onto Bach Inventions that my music teacher would painstakingly note on the sheet music as I played (not for me, but to help the other students).
Her innards are now failing and need major surgery to return her to the upright grandness of her youth.
