I had to Google this because I had not a clue what it was! LOL! Still not sure which variety this is though. Is this the spice that is added to rice and curry dishes? Just a seed pod? Whatever it is, it's got great texture and sure is an interesting and fascinating creation. Very nice eye candy capture!

Great picture of the, for us, common pandanus, we forget that it is quite rare and exotic for some. Yes @marlboromaam this part is the seed pod, the tree itself is very sculptural and the above ground roots are also very weird looking.
