Fantastic capture with perfect focus and yes those are pollen sacks Lesley. They can be different colours depending on the colour of the flower and the pollen they collect.

Certainly pollen sacs but interestingly these are orange- I photographed a bee the other day and that one had white sacs- never realised they could be different colours!
