Today we broke our duck, we went out to our favourite lunchtime haunt, the first time in over 2 years! I was overwhelmed with the greetings and hugs I got from the staff. They remembered our usual order even down to the extra pot of hot water for our tea. They were so pleased to see us. The place was so busy too, I never expected that, we enjoyed our meal and hopefully things will keep on getting back to normal now my ops are over.
