These riders were just going onto the beach for a gallop. The grey piebald was terrified of the sand that was blowing across the beach and took a lot of persuading to get to the wetter part of the beach. You can see the sand in the photo whipping across the beach, it was taken yesterday afternoon.

Unusual beach view with the horses

Nice shot. Sand whipping through the air stings on the skin so much and also gets in your eyes, no wonder the horse wasn't keen on it.
