A trip to Lindisfarne today was cold and showery but the views were lovely. I haven't been for over 25 years and in that time it has changed very little. This is a shot of Lindisfarne Castle, dated from the 1550s when it was built using the priory buildings stone after the Dissolution. It overlooks Holy Island and the Nothumberland Coast.

Beautifully captured and framed. Fav! 😃. It's been a long time since I visited there. As a child, I lived in Northumberland. That part of the coast is really lovely.
