I know it's still grey but this is such an improvement on the past week. A break in the cloud to the right of the photo with a little sunshine was as good as we got but it was so welcome. Roseberry topping is in her winter garb but the fields around the area are emerald green, the winter has not been cold enough to cause the grass to yellow yet. Looking at the forecast though we may get snow for next week, the first of the year, we have been let off lightly this winter so far......
