We came into Middlesbrough a different way and were greeted with this wonderful display of knitted poppies at the foot of the War memorial at Nunthorpe, it must have been there for over a month and we are so glad we didn't miss such a wonderful display. I don't know how many hundreds of poppies were used but such a lot of work went into it!! A marvelous yarn bomb!!
