Today has been a very funny light day here in the UK. Something to do with whipped up sand from the hurricane in the atmosphere turning the sun a coral red. I have a good zoom camera but it wasn’t a clear shot as you can see. The sun finally broke through late afternoon after looking like this all day.

Great shot! We too have had 'post hurricane' weather. A band of overcast, topped with a very pale shade of orange and no sun at all today. The last few days have been wall to wall sunshine, so this sudden change and the conditions that provoked it...provoke many questions.
This amazing sun has been making the rounds! We had a big orange glowing sun last week in the U.S. but my phone camera cannot not handle that type of capture. Fav.
