Cold blue winter skies down on the seafront a few days ago. The gulls were enjoying the upcurrents and were riding on them. In summer it’s thermals and they ride endlessly on them, you can see the pleasure they get from this kind of play.

That's fun - reminds of the china ducks my grandmother had on the wall when I was growing up in the 60's. I like to see all the wings flapping at different stages.
