This is the little thatched cottage at the end of the seafront at Runswick, it’s so close to the waters edge but still standing after hundreds of years. The village precariously perches on the cliff edge and is forever being shored up to stop it sliding into the sea, although I haven’t heard of any mishaps in the past few years. In the sunshine it’s a very picturesque village but today it’s was rather on the grey side, about 9C and a very cold wind chill, I was glad to get back into the car.
Nice on black
