I mentioned a week or so ago about a cockerel I saw feeding with the wild birds up on the edge of the moors,he had just wander off that day but I caught him this time. He was very vocal and quite tame, he is not handsome but his plumage was colourful. I think he is an escapee, he wandered around with the pheasants and the smaller birds were not frightened by him. Anyway it is just a little different to what you would expect in that spot!!

I just hope he will survive the life in the wild , and no wily fox will come and end his stuttering on the moors ! - I think he is attractive in an unusual way - A great shot Margaret - love the detail and the sheen on hid feathers ! fav
