This years lamb was grazing between mounds of early June flowering heather. It’s quite a sight, just starting to flower and with the promise of another few weeks colour before the true heather shows in August. The true heather is pinkier and flowers a little different, the early heather is more purple and gives a welcome show to a very sparse moor.
