Boulby Potash Mine

This is where my hubbie worked for 42 odd years, thankfully he is now retired. He was the longest serving tiffy (instruments technician),having started there in 1973. We pass it often but he does not have any want or need to visit ever again. He is glad his time is his own and he’s not having to travel in at 5 in the morning or 9 at night for 12 hour shifts, something that he doesn’t miss at all!

Retirement is wonderful isn't it. Always good to look at where he spent so many years working, but thankful to have his time to himself now.

Beautiful story to go with this neat capture. When I retired I made sure I wouldn't pass anywhere close to my place of work and it is only now that i pss without even looking at the building.
