Young Herring Gull

Just stood in hope of a a stray chip passing his way. This young gull was stood on the outside of the gull crèche which hangs around waiting to be fed by tired parents.

I love this little one! They are so fat and noisy, aren't they? I remember watching one by a holiday lodge on the sand dunes in Cornwall where we were staying. It was constantly begging for food and its parents were exhausted trying to feed the big fat baby!
