This packed cargo ship was off again with another load of goods. The pilot boat at its side is to guide it through the very narrow passage out to sea. I didn’t crop it purposely so it can be seen how much room there is from the bank!

I was thinking the same thing as Milanie... so colorful... the pilot boat is really cool but it looks so close to the container ship... perhaps the view is compressed with the telephoto lens. Nice shot!
A good capture of this helper of commerce. The boxes are colorful and bear some familiar names. It's difficult to realize that those small boats, tugboats and alike, can help guide and steer a huge ship.
Beautiful shot. Maersk is one of the lines that uses Malta's Freeport to distribute cargo to countries around the Mediterranean. Their huge container ships take most of the quays when they come into harbour.
