I had a marvellous day at the gymnastic event yesterday, it warrants another picture...and yes i didn't get around to doing a picture today! This chap is Brazil's Arthur Nabarretti Zanneti...a surprise gold medal for the Brazilian. The Chinese chap Chen Yibing was pretty much marked down for gold. He was a little annoying actually, he was winking and waving and all smiles during the other routines...that got wiped off with Arthur's routine. The Brazilians erupted with cheers and screams when the scores were announced. Chen Yibing face looked like a slapped bottom...I think learning how to be modest is the lesson learnt here...still he came away with silver, so that ain't bad ;-P
I guess Yibing never read "The Tortoise and the Hare". LOL!
It's funny. I should be focused on the gymnist, but my eye went right to the group of photographers behind him. The same thing happens when I'm watching a news story on TV. I'll watch the photographers in the background to see what kind of equipment are they using, are they using a flash, etc. It's a sickness I tell ya!
@cromwell clearly not! There were some seriously BIG lenses out there and proper cameras -We had a twinge of an Electra type complex but with camera equipment. I wished I could borrow some of the equipment for my pictures whilst seated in the "gods"
