I've been admiring all kinds of backlit photos on this site. I especially like ones that others have taken of their little girls - I just love the way their little stray hairs catch the light. Unfortunately, the super short locks on my boys just does not achieve the same effect!! Their half asian, half native american super course hair does not lend itself well to even a medium length style. Hmm, I wonder how my husband would react to the suggestion of growing the boys' hair out long for more ethereal looking photos!
Just lovely Christina - nice lighting. I like the house in the background, too. My 'kids' are grown up but I often 'suggest' photo ideas to them - they are starting to think they are props!!! Growing the boys hair is pretty tame - In the past couple of weeks have asked my daughter to stand under a pouring down pipe and let a spider crawl up her arm. Funny but it was a firm 'no' on the spider suggestion - LOL!!!
