Not all theme attractions are successful here in Florida. Right down the road from me was this large attraction dedicated to China. It closed down years ago. The stone walls surrounding it are now covered with vines and right by the entrance gate is this stone dragon. He too has been beaten by the elements. Old and worn. and now home to lizards and vines himself. Yet, he stands guard. Ever watching. Warding off evil perhaps.
Love the way you captured this stone dragon and its shadows. The effects of the elements gives this dragon a character. Great shot and story Cromwell! :D
@amandalomonaco -- I know. I live 5 minutes from it and never thought to check it out. I'd like to hop the fence and explore and shoot, but don't want to get arrested for tresspassing.
Very cool capture, Cromwell! Excellent narrative, too! I like the light and shadows on the dragon. The tones are lovely and show the neglect. Perhaps, it does ward off evil! Ya never know. =)
@edie -- Thanks Edie. This was a plaque on a wall that surrounded the property. The building were all on the other side and from what I could make of them, in great disrepair. I thinking of chancing it and hop over the wall and shoot some stuff. I know they have security guards on the outside by the gate. Not sure if there's any on the other side of the wall though. I'm thinking of chancing it.
