That's great, you can see it's little face! I guess I should have put a close up of my butterfly, no love was given to it. I Liked the foilage in the shot. Loving the purple foilage in yours too :)

@rocketdog@ozziehoffy -- I have nothing against flowers. They are beautiful. I just think seeing a hundred or more flower shots everyday on the 365 is redundant. I also think it's lazy photography. The photographers I admire the most here are the one who go out and shoot something original, not something everybody with a camera is going to shoot. Hey, if you see a fantastic looking exotic flower, by all means, shoot it. Never walk way from a potential great shot is my motto...but, I can honestly say that 95% of the flower shots I see on the 365 are "BOR- ING!"
PS - I'm trying really hard to be kind, and I do think the occasional flower shot is lovely, but I also feel like I've seen one too many and am at a loss for anything original to say about them...
@northy -- I hear ya sister! My appologies to those I follow, but I no longer comment on ANY flower shots. I post comments from the gut. Whatever my first thought or reaction is to a photo I view. Sorry, but the only reaction I get from viewing another flower shot in an seemingly endless line of flower shots is "Ugh!" I'm certain the photographer doesn't want to hear that kind of opinion from me, so I shut up and move on. LOL!

I love them and enjoyed the challenge of doing crisp macros and presenting them differently - I actually deliberated about doing them because I know you don't like them, (!!) but reconciled that you can't please all the people all the time :)
@filsie65 -- That's hysterical. You made me laugh so hard. I still love you, Phil (even if you torment me with flower shots). Oh, and I was generalizing not singling you out. When I see a flower shot I just skip by them and don't even notice who posted it. Sorry I missed you personal warning to me. :-D

England only gets flowers a few months of the year which I guess is perhaps why we all go potty. Ok pottier.
