@marlboromaam -- No, I didn't get his autograph although I could have. I'm a fan of the original (unaltered trilogy), not the stuff that came after. I have met and gotten autographs of Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher , Peter Cushing, David Prowse, Peter Mayhew, Anthony Daniels and a host of others from the films.
He probably is a better actor than Hayden Christensen. This is a great shot. You get eye contact from the main character but no one else is even looking your direction. I'm guessing an Ewok of something is coming behind him. All eyes are turned that direction! By the way, Ewok was not in my computers dictionary. I had to add it!
@jwlynn64 -- John, a block of wood is a better actor than Hayden Christensen. There was a motorcade in front and behind him of other celebrities. That's why the spectators attention was focused on what was coming next. Nobody really that famous there. Mostly voice actors for THE CLONE WARS series.
It's funny how an image of someone sticks in your brain unaltered until it gets short circuited like this. You forget that everyone grows older.
I'm like you in regards to STAR WARS. I think they could blowtorch Jar Jar Binks out of the movie, leaving the melted celluloid in it's place and the Phantom Menace would be a better movie. Tough to do since it's all digital, but that's my old school though process getting in the way again.
@webfoot -- It certainly is a reality check. I hadn't seen him in years either and when his car approached I was like "Geez, where does the time go? As for blowtorching Jar Jar out of The Phantom Menace to make it a better movie...NOTHING could make it a better movie!
@annbo -- I thrive on photographing the cool and unusual. Ordinary life is much to dull for my camera lens (lol).
@dlo -- Thanks so much, Dawn. :-)
@kirstyalexandra -- Yeah, I know what you mean. Seeing him all grown up made me feel old! LOL
@ozziehoffy -- Yeah, but they got the back of his head (lol). I got the money shot! :-p
