Baby Matthew arrived this morning at 7:38 aft Michelle was in labour for 3 1/2 hours of labor. She went from 1 to 9 BOOM.It was crazy how fast everything happened.
Matthew didn't have a easy entrance. His shoulders got stuck. The emergency button was pushed and there were 11 more nurses and 1 more Doctor. They placed him on Michelles chest but with in a couple seconds took him away. He was purple and not breathing. This was terrifying as we never heard a cry. They then took him away. Jason however got to go with him. The wheeled him next to Michelle so she could touch him quickly.
They kept him for 3 hours while Michelle and I waited.
The good news is when he can back he was perfect other than very bruised arms.
Matthew Douglas weights 8lbs ad 4 oz and is 19 inches tall. I'm already in love.
