so glad to see 'our' koala back in our garden. This time he chose to sit in the Golden Ash tree so close to the verandah I could have patted him. I think he has a girlfriend close by too so we should see more of them.
You realize, don't you, that you're the envy of most people around the world?! I get excited if "our" cat chooses to stay with us overnight! Dinah is about as much "our" cat as the Koala is yours! But aren't all "our" animals a joy to have around?! (We've come to learn that Dinah is something of a "neighbourhood" cat She spends time with my next door neighbour and a family a few doors down! She'd got personality enough that ,ore of us should benefit by her visits...as she is, at this moment, laying across my lap making it difficult to type...but I'm loving every minute to it!)
many thanks for putting this fine fellow on the PP. He has such a cute laid back look on his face just gently watching me fumble in excitement with my camera. We are so lucky to have them choose our garden as part of their territory. Even our dog is used to them walking past to get from one tree to another
@cruiser I just HAD to comment on what you said! When I travel and see something like this, I wonder if "the locals" know how fortunate they are to know this as their daily reality! I'm so glad to see that you still fumble in excitement!
On my son`s trip trough Australia they/he made a tour at night with lights to see them . I don`t agree with this.
