I sat outside for ages in 37c heat (in shade) waiting for someone to visit my bird bath. This Rosella was the only one. Maybe later in the day there will be more. @flyrobin you know lots about birds, is it a juvenile Crimson Rosella?
@lyndemc our heat in South Australia is very dry so if you are in the shade its not too uncomfortable. Mind you I didint last much longer than 30 minutes and retreated to the aircon :)
The heatwave did start early this year. We are also melting at the tip of Africa.
