even though our little grandson lives on the other side of the world, through Skype we were able to join in some of his Christmas excitement when he showed us what Santa brought him - a "racing" train set.

thankyou everyone for your lovely comments. when I was a child with relatives in the UK all we had were letters and photos which took weeks to travel between both countries. we are grateful for modern technology
