the Bard's Birthplace

spent a lovely day in Stratford on Avon wandering beside the river and through the ancient town. This house is where William Shakespeare was born in 1564. We also visited Holy Trinity church where he is buried.

@happypat yes Pat we are being picked up for the airport at 9.30am tomorrow. Its been a lovely holiday with lots of interesting things done and seen but best of all just to be with family as you well know. Here's hoping you and I can catch up somewhere sometime.
