The Boddenick Ferry

This ferries folk (both in cars or vans or as foot passengers) from either side of the Fowey River. It is a short cut if you are going to Looe or Polperro from this side or a lovely walk around Polruan on the other side. It is hugely busy during the summer months with queues forming on both sides......

Many years ago, we waited nearly an hour at lunchtime, in that queue for the ferry. We both got very sunburned.
