Grey, grey day of Midlands non-weather today, so we visited Lichfield Cathedral. They were setting up staging in the middle of the Nave, and I spotted these three ecclesiastical thrones abandoned in a side aisle, i loved the way they complemented the columns behind, and were positioned so randomly, yet so perfectly on the grating.....
